As I ran......and ran and ran.......and ran.

I ran the most I have ever ran in my life this morning.
I say that every week it seems.
9.1 miles.
As I clocked it last night in my durango where I was to run
I couldn't believe I was going to do ALL that distance on foot.
It just seemed to far for my little body to carry me.
6:15 this morning. I was off!
Nervous and insecure about myself and My body's strength.
I Hit a wall at mile 3 1/2
I had to tell my body. Steady and true.
& keep it slow......
.
.

{Picture by my neice kenzie she took up in Bear lake, I helped her edit it}
so pretty and inspiring!
.
.
I hit the half way mark.
Choked down some energy GOO......{oh my}
Washed it down with water before I threw up.
and then I was on my way back home.....
.
Mile 6
I WAS A ROCKSTAR!
No longer Insecure. Head up high.
Tunes cranked and my feet were in a rhythm.
Felt unstoppable!
.
Mile 8
Steady and true Annie............keep it slow.
I was indeed running home. I wanted nothing more then to make it home.
to see my house around the corner.
Legs numb.
But trusting my body to stay on that steady Rhythm.
.
Mile 9.
I DID IT!
saw my house.........
Tears of Joy filled my eyes.
That I DID IT!
Me!
I did.
All by myself!
I pushed myself.....talked to myself...
promised myself...
.
.
.
Now depends how you look at all this.....
but doesn't it sound a little familar?
like maybe......................, um, Life its self?
humm.....something to think about.
.
.
I found this little quote a while ago....
.
.
Running.
Something you can do by yourself under your own power.
You can go any direction.
Fast or slow as you wanted, fighting the wind if you felt like it.
Seeking out new sights just on the strength of your feet & the courage of your lungs.
.

Running a half marathon, I wrote 13 things on my arm. Each item I dedicated a mile to it. One mile I ran for my husband and spent the entire mile thinking of all the great things about him. I dedicated one to my mom, my friends, and my self. It was a remarkable experience! So what I say to you Annie, "You GO girl! You have what it takes both mentally, physically and emotionally to do this!"

AMAZING!!! I am so proud of you!

I have a friend that ran a group relay marathon thing...AT NIGHT! She had to wear a light on her head! Then she gave a talk in church and compared the experience to family, life, and the glory of finishing and the great things Heavenly Father has in store for us if we KEEP GOING and follow his plan (route map) for us. It was so inspiring.

I few more days until I see you! I need to get on your calendar!
